SEM / SEO Analyst I
We are currently looking for a talented, team oriented Search Engine Optimization Analyst I. Thru his/her understanding of search engines and user search behavior, the SEO Analyst will work individually and with the team (in-house resources) to identify and implement improvements that create or increase clients' organic search listings and rankings. The SEO Analyst will utilize a basic Internet business model to maximize traffic yield. The SEO Analyst will also carry out specific technical deliverables per individual client service contract.
- SEO keyword analysis
- Site architecture
- Develop HTML meta tags & produce link building for website
- Apply website changes via FTP
- Research, identify and establish link partnerships to improve SEO results
- Track metrics, including: referrals, link popularity, rankings, and saturation
- Setup client accounts with various software and/or Intranets
- Clearly communicate complex issues to clients
- Proactively present program recommendations and quantified benefits to Team Client Manager in order to advance clients' goals and objectives
- Log and monitor each clients project & progress
- Research and development of new and current services, work closely with account execs, developers and designers on SEO initiatives
Requirements:
Knowledge / Ability:- MUST have working knowledge of basic Internet technology (HTML, CSS)
- Cross-team negotiation skills and superior communications skills
- Extremely well-organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail oriented, self-starting/managed individual
- Strong analytical and advanced MS Office skills
- Strong preference for someone with experience in programming with Apache and php
- Experience working with Domain Name Systems (DNS)
- Working knowledge of SEO programs and processes
- Knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-6 years professional work experience
- 2 years of Internet experience and/or e-commerce marketing (or relevant background)
- Experience working in teams and in a client or departmental services environment/role

SEM / SEO Analyst II
We are seeking a strategic and creative Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Analyst II to join our rapidly growing Search Engine Marketing (SEM) department. This position will create and maintain client websites consistent with the defined search strategies for those clients.
Key responsibilities include:- Auditing clients' website architecture to ensure proper construction for maximum search engine visibility
- Analyzing existing traffic patterns of client websites to determine the enhancements necessary to improve traffic
- Advising our internal staff, and client web developers, designers and copywriters, in the production of websites conducive to producing high search engine rankings
- Providing strategies to reconfigure dynamic websites and web pages developed using ASP, PHP, Cold Fusion, Java, Broad Vision, and Perl
- Coordinating with third party vendors and/or client IT staff to resolve website technical issues
- Developing scopes of work for the production Search Engine Marketing and optimization campaigns
- Managing all technical aspects of SEM projects including: kickoff, requirements analysis, development, testing and launch
- Researching search engine algorithms and providing analyses for clients and/or internal team members
- Anticipating and/or maintaining awareness of all potential and existing issues facing Search Engine Optimization projects, and collaborating with team members to develop solutions/strategies
- Utilizing industry software to monitor clients' search engine rankings, and perform keyword research using tools such as WordTracker, Keyword Max, Web Position Gold, or similar
Experience:
This position requires a BA/BS in Information Technology, Information Systems, MIS, eCommerce, Computer Science or related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of programming experience using HTML, JavaScript, ASP, PHP, Cold Fusion, .NET and Perl
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in technical production of websites, or web-related projects, with some exposure to optimizing sites for search engines
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
- A strong customer service orientation and the ability to form customer relationships are a necessity
- Able to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience with creating search engine optimization technologies is a plus

SEM /SEO Account Manager
We are seeking a talented and creative Account Manager of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to join our rapidly growing Search Engine Marketing Team. The Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of his/her accounts. This includes ensuring that we create and deliver all aspects of SEM including SEO, Paid Placement, and Paid Inclusion programs that improve our clients' visibility in the search engines as well as meet their Return On Investment goals.
The SEM Account Manager is ultimately accountable for clients' satisfaction with the SEM programs. He/she is responsible for managing the account team to ensure individual skills are being developed and best practices are continually being updated and shared across the SEM department. It is the responsibility of the SEM Account Manager to ensure our clients are educated on new SEM and Paid Placement / Inclusion developments and the results of any SEM program are conveyed to the client in meaningful ways to the client's business. It is the expectation that the SEM Account Manager Feed will develop a high-level, operational understanding of our clients' businesses so that he/she will be able to position our company as a strategic long-term resource in the clients' search engine marketing mix. The SEM Account Manager is expected to be able to successfully perform all duties autonomously with limited direct management oversight required from upper management.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Confers with client in a presales role, utilizing SEO and Paid Placement/ Inclusion product knowledge and research to understand and/or help determine search marketing goals in order to develop the best search strategy for the client
- Develops relationships with clients; and builds and nurtures those relationships
- Creates proposals, presentations, regular reporting, and other documents for client use in the evaluation and approval of SEM and Paid Inclusion plans/programs
- Uses market research and search engine technology data to work with SEM team members to evaluate, adjust, and redirect SEM team efforts and campaigns as necessary. Also seeks new opportunities to provide additional SEM services within existing client accounts
- Directs and manages the resources of Metamend in the delivery of all client programs and services, and works closely with the team to ensure that all client deliverables are met and client expectations are exceeded. This includes ensuring internal processes are followed, and that campaigns are being actively monitored and enhanced
- Ensures the timely renewal of client SEM programs to avoid any interruption in client service.
- Is responsible for filing all required documentation to support revenue recognition and making sure that project milestones are achieved within project plan timeline
- Works with VP of Operations to ensure all client contracts are in place and that pricing is captured correctly
- Provide clients and internal department members with industry updates and relative articles.
- Manage all day-to-day client account activities
The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years experience managing accounts, relationships, and people. Some experience with Search Engine Optimization is required. Project management skills and the talent to work directly with clients are critical. Ideally, youve worked for an agency in a similar capacity and have some experience with digital media.
